Elise was born and raised in Hillsboro, KS.  After High School she attended Kansas State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. She worked in mental health for two years before beginning her graduate work at Wichita State University.  In 2011 she received my master’s degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in school social work.  During that time she worked for Communities In Schools of Sedgwick County, focusing on dropout prevention. This is her first year with the McPherson School District, where she works at the Middle School as a College and Career Advocate.
