Kansas Education Commissioner, Dr. Diane DeBacker said, “It is a rare educational leader in today’s politically-correct world that will carry a message to legislators and other policy makers that questions the reasoning of decisions that have the potential to negatively impact our children. Mike is that rare leader. Through his relentless pursuit for what’s best for Kansas students, Mike has established himself as THE superintendent to carry the message.”
