Becoming aware of which items in this list impact our energy in a negative way is powerful. During this podcast, the hosts discuss strategies to increase your anabolic energy. A few strategies that are discussed include:
- Become aware of when you are needing control and determining why the need is present.
- Give up labels (good/bad and right/wrong) by decreasing judgment of yourself and others.
- Use positive self-talk.
- Respect and value the different lenses people see the world through.
- Give up the need to do it the way you’ve always done it or are comfortable with.
- Lessen your fear of failure, approval, and rejection. Fears can cause us to go into inaction.
- Celebrate failure in schools. Change the definition of failure so that there isn’t a bad connotation with the word.
